A Bellini in style, cheese dome with charming artisan design

A bright, bold and cheerful piece of studio crafted ceramic, distinguished by its vibrant blue lid and coordinating base plate. The domed lid is adorned with a prominent, hand painted yellow sunflower design, featuring a textured, dotted center. The blue glaze of both the lid and the base has a slightly naive uneven brushstroke appearance. There are no makers marks to speak of, however, it is stylistically similar to pieces produced by Bellini. Bellini ceramics originated in Tuscany, Italy, was founded in 1946, and continues to produce artisan created ceramics.
