A French decorative ceramic plate featuring a vibrant peacock

A wonderfully bright and colourful hand painted piece with an intricate and symmetrical design. Created by MAC'B, a French studio known for high quality, hand painted porcelain and faience items. The central motif is a stylised bird, resembling a peacock, with an orange body, green wings, and a prominent yellow and orange tail fanning out behind it.
The bird has small yellow plumes on its head and is depicted standing amidst green foliage. The border of the plate is adorned with elaborate, colourful scrollwork and floral patterns in shades of yellow, blue, pink and green. Small blue and pink flowers are also visible near the bird's feet.
