A hand carved teak sculpture of an antelope with calf, mid century, elegant

A graceful, detailed, hand carved piece of mid century folk art. The sculpture is made of teak, displaying a rich, warm brown tone with visible grain patterns that add texture and depth. There has been some restoration work completed, to the top of the horns. The antelope stands upright on a solid, irregular base, which also holds the small calf at its hooves. Head held high and prominent, spiraled horns extending upwards.
