A large English jug and bowl wash set, 1920s stoneware

A large English wash set, consisting of jug and bowl, brash and uncompromising. We believe this to be a 1920s reproduction of a much earlier piece. The pair are heavy stoneware, making a bold statement wherever placed. The colours of blue, green and red have been selected to create a wonderful, bright floral scene on a backdrop of white. There is some damage to the spout of the jug, which has been previously repaired.
