A stunning Victorian tea urn, English, wonderful example, 19th century
An antique, late 19th Century, samovar, copper, with ornate brass fittings. It has a large, rounded body and a polished reflective copper finish. Two attractive brass handles are attached to the upper sides of the piece. A brass spigot with a black ball on the handle is located to the lower front, which still functions. The samovar rests on a sturdy, circular base, elevating the main vessel. A dark, hand turned wooden finial tops the lid.
